Introducing Collision’s stellar lineup of lunch options! A city’s cuisine is a huge part of its culture, and our food vendors are offering a delicious selection of New Orleans’ finest. Get a taste of NOLA for between $5 and $20.
You can find the food vendors at the rear left and rear right of the venue. Stop by between 11.30 and 3.30 for a much-needed energy boost.
Green Market/Espresso Cart
But first, coffee.
Get your caffeine fix in the morning at the Espresso Cart. If you’re feeling peckish you’ll also find some sweet pastries, fresh fruit and yogurt pots to keep you going until lunch. For those more veggie inclined or keeping it gluten-free, Green Market is worth a return visit for their variety of tasty salads.
Big Easy Specialties
Big Easy Specialties offer a selection of New Orleans staples, from crawfish etouffee (which is thicker than a gumbo and tends to focus on one meat rather than a mix) to traditional gumbo. This spot is a must for first-timers in the Big Easy. Stop by for a selection of classic Creole dishes.
Streetcar Sandwich Shop
With over 60 varieties of the humble sandwich originating from the US, we’ve narrowed down our top choices for Collision 2018. Options include works of art that Lord Sandwich himself would be proud of, such as the Voodoo chicken panini and delicious cheeseburger sliders. This vendor offers vegan and gluten-free options.
Nothing represents the diversity of Collision quite like Creole food. It blends aromas from the cooking pots of Spain, France, West Africa and beyond to create the unique flavour of Louisiana cuisine. And it’s all gluten-free!
Big Easy Rolls
If you fancy something a little less Cajun, stop by Big Easy Rolls for some hand-rolled sushi. There will be a range of Asian food items from Teriyaki chicken to edamame salad. If you’ve reached your caffeine limit for the day, grab a green tea instead and end your conference day off strong.
Stop by for a variety of Indian options that offer both gluten-free and vegetarian choices. Chakra Kafe will offer both chicken and vegetarian curry bowls, a three bean salad and traditional Naan bread. Keeping with the New Orleans vibes, Chakra Kafe also offers Banh Mi Muffuletta, which is a traditional Creole-Vietnamese sandwich mixed with pork belly, turkey, capocollo, pepper jack cheese, and Asian olives.
We’re asking you to help us keep Collision as eco-friendly as possible this year. We’re encouraging everyone to bring their own reusable water bottles, which can be filled up at water fountains around the venue. Our food vendors are also supporting us by limiting plastic as much as possible, and will be providing recyclable wooden utensils. Keep your eyes peeled for our recycling waste baskets, they will be separated by trash type.
