We’re looking for the best startup exhibiting at Collision. They’re going to be named winners of PITCH.

It’s our pitching competition that was named as one of the best startup competitions in the world by Forbes. It is open to any Collision startup that has received under $3 million in funding to date.

Our top startups will get to present in front of a judging panel of distinguished investors, influential media, and thousands of attendees. They’ll battle it out across three days for a chance to present on the Centre Stage and be crowned Winner of Collision at PITCH 2016.

At Collision this year PITCH is going one stage further. It will be the first major startup pitching competition that will actively seek out the best early-stage companies from under-appreciated – but incredible – tech communities across America.

It’s an opportunity for the most promising startups from Buffalo, Charleston, Nashville, New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Raleigh-Durham and San Antonio to pitch against the world’s best on Collision Centre Stage.

We’re aiming to shine a light on tech communities that have been overlooked for too long. We want to showcase that you don’t have to be in one of the ‘traditional’ tech cities any more to succeed.

The emerging New Orleans ecosystem and in particular New Orleans Entrepreneur Week are great examples of the great work already happening but sometimes is overlooked by mainstream media.

The winners of Launch Pad PITCH will then go straight into the PITCH semi-finals against other startups from around the world. Awaiting the very best are places in the PITCH final in front of the international Collision audience.

Is this the most important, most wide-ranging startup pitch competition in America? We hope that it might be one day. Collision co-host Chris Schultz has written about why he thinks the competition can have an impact.

We’re delighted to announce the startups from across the States that will be competing.
