Two days of pitching across two stages in front of a diverse panel of judges, PITCH has given 60 of the most promising startups exhibiting at Collision a platform to tell their story. Three finalists pitched on Center Stage to a panel of three judges and a packed audience to win the title of Collision PITCH winner 2015.

Our winner for 2015 is RE:3D

Speechmatics claim to provide the world’s most accurate speech recognition. The cloud-based system converts audio to text and thus makes speech easy to search &analyse.The team includes CTO Dr Tony Robinson, who holds a PhD in Engineering from Cambridge University and who led the connectionist speech recognition research group in the university for 10 years. CEO Benedikt von Thuengen hold’s a master degree from Cambridge University and has worked in management consultancy for several years. Speechmatics has enjoyed strong traction from clients, who use their innovations in a variety of applications including media monitoring, transcription of parliamentary hearings, audio data mining or indexing and archiving of audio (visual) information.


Lookbooker is an online booking aggregation for the hair and beauty industry: Search, select and instantly confirm salon appointments online. There are 1.3 million hair and beauty businesses in the US. Less than 1% of appointments are taken online. LookBooker is changing this; aggregating the incredibly fragmented market for consumers and enabling the convenience and efficiency of 24/7 appointment scheduling.
